Chief Trigo and members of the Fanwood Police Department are inviting the community to sit down and have a cup of coffee with local officers to discuss any law enforcement or policing issues at the local, regional or national level.

“Coffee with a Cop” will be held on  Monday, February 13th  from  9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  at Mara’s Café on South Avenue in Fanwood.

Residents will be able to discuss issues, learn more about each other, and strengthen community ties.

December 2016  -  Fanwood Police  Department and the Fanwood PBA Local 123

It is busy time of year for the Fanwood Police Department and Fanwood PBA. Every year the Fanwood Police Officers, members of Fanwood PBA Local 123 give back to area residents. The season starts off the week of Thanksgiving collecting and donating gifts for Union County Parents As Teachers Organization, Sgt. Marc Gottlick and Officer Michael Rusin delivered the gifts earlier this week in time for Moms and Dads to wrap and leave for Santa to put under their Chirstmas Tree. On December 21st, Chief Richard Trigo, Lt. Eugene Chin, Lt. Francisco Marrero, Sgt. Ronald Greco, Officer Elliott Bernad and Officer Ryan Gilmore dropped off a

 donation in the amount of  $500.00 to First Children School in Fanwood. The holiday season will be finished off on Christmas Eve when the PBA delivers Christmas Dinners to the ARC group homes in Fanwood.
