2014 Special Olympics Torch Run

On May 30, 2014 members of the Fanwood Police Department and their families will be participating in the annual Special Olympics Law Enforcment Torch Run. The run will begin at 10:30 A.M. at the ShopRite in Elizabeth, New Jersey and continue on South Avenue. The Scotch Plains Police Department hand the Olympic Torch to the Fanwood Police Department at the Sunoco Station on South Avenue in Fanwood. The run will continue on South Avenue, onto Martine Avenue and continue onto Park Avenue in Scotch Plains, the runners will continue on Front Street in Scotch Plains and hand Torch to the Plainfield Police Department at the Dunkin Donuts on Terrill Road. 

 

The Fanwood Police Department will be accepting sponsorship donations for the run. If you have any questions or would like to make a donation please call Dianne Howarth at the Fanwood Police Department (908) 322-5000 ext. 115.
