The combined efforts of The Fanwood Police Department, Fanwood PBA, Fanwood Boro Offices, Fanwood Municipal Court  and the residents of the communities of Fanwood and Scotch Plains have truly impacted over 100 children’s lives in Union County this Holiday season with the dedication of the Giving Tree to Parents as Teachers program. The generous gift giving brightens up the lives of these impoverished families. The educational gifts assisted in one of the goals of the program, to improve school readiness for these children. The staff of Parents as Teachers have been busy delivering these presents to the homes and the children’s eyes just light up when they are given a present from Santa.  Parents as Teachers would like to thank all of the wonderful members of the Fanwood Community and members of the Fanwood Borough offices, Police and Fire Department, and PBA for their support. We would especially like  to thank Diane Howarth for facilitating all of the details of this project.

Thanks again.
